Want to be at the top of page 1?

One of the best ways is to blog. Add a business blog to your website to increase your search engine rankings. Search engines crawl the internet and your website to read and index pages.  The first big benefit to your website is it will naturally contain keywords that are ripe for your target audience to be searching. The second big benefit of a blog is it will increase the potential for incoming links. The more links to your website and to specific pages on your website, the better your chances of being on page 1.

How does that work?

Search engines like Google, Yahoo and Bing pay attention to the number of links to your website. The more links, the more valuable they rate you. The higher your rating, the better your chances of being on page 1 of the search results!

Where do you begin with blogging?

  1. Select a platform. The best option is to add a blog inside your website. This will allow you to add new content to your website, and therefore get the biggest benefit from your blog posts. The other option is to create a blog somewhere else, like Blogger, WordPress or others.
  2. Plan your blog. Business-to-business blogs are one of the fastest-growing segments. Most blogs tend to focus on a niche area.
