Have you seen posts on Facebook pages about how you can earn money from home, make millions doing nothing, etc, etc, etc? Posts that really don’t belong on that Facebook page? These cyber spammers and stalkers are getting more and more aggressive, which is why many businesses have asked us “How can I remove a fan?”
If it was spam, report that person as a spammer. If the person has been really offensive, simply click the last option “permanently ban this person from this Facebook Page and remove all content they have posted” and you’re good to go! Many business owners and managers have expressed concern about people posting really horrible comments on their pages, thereby destroying their business and brand. Some have even expressed concern over competitors sneakily posting false comments just to hurt the business. (Which is an unspeakable offense that one should ever partake in.) However, Facebook has now alleviated that fear… simply remove that bad fan and all their comments! Yeah! One Note: Your Facebook page is your online community that needs to be maintained. With the increasing spam being posted on pages, it is imperative that you implement a regular schedule for checking your page for posts and doing “clean-up” if necessary.

We have great news for you! With all the recent upgrades to Facebook, page administrators can now better manage their Facebook pages, posts and fans. You can now ban abusive fans from your Facebook page! If a fan has posted spam or is abusing your page, you can click “Flag” next to their post. That will remove the post from your page. Then, you can take it one step further and click “Report” and you’ll see the options in this screen capture.
